Côte du Py Morgon Gamay

Fresh berries and crushed rock. Great intro to Morgon for domestic Pinot Guzzlers and Rhone Rangers alike!

This is much more backward and has a tannic edge to it, dark fruits, good length, I suspect that this will always show that tannic edge, big and richer than the Traboules, but I prefer the refined aromatics and balance of the Traboules tonight.

Solid fruit, seems to be close to fully mature (unlike the 2011 I recently had), solid balance, medium-long finish, good.

Light spice on nose. Dense dark fruit and flourish of mineral goodness. Lovely tannin finish leaves you wanting more. Great integration between raspberry fruit, bright acidity, and it gets darker and darker as it melds in. Memorable.

Fruity (red berries) and minerally with some earthy notes.

Superb Beaujolais. Round, fruity, persistant. I like it

Aromatically fragrant with nose of strawberry, cherry, banana, with touch of minerals. High acidity, and a bit harsh on the palate. Maybe I need to pair it with food.

2014. Rosemary and cherry. Super bright acid.
