Drank this a month after release, with some anticipation given the current indications that 2015 will be a top vintage for serious French wines. A very dark magenta colour, almost inky, but with a light almost delicate menthol bouquet. The taste is of ripe red berries, the initial taste a little rustic but a smoother and surprisingly long finish. Probably the second best Beaujolais nouveau I have had in recent memory and whilst that is hardly saying that this is a quality wine it does bode well for the vintage.
