I liked this quite a bit, not as a serious dinner wine, but good as a starter, maybe with pizza. Had a little funk, but was fresh and fruity. Not much complexity. At Barkada in DC.

Jan 10th, 2021Fun wine from the Savoie. The wine is made by Jean-Yves Peron, but I believe it is his neighbors grapes. It is a blend of Carignan and Cab Sauvignon. Has some steaky and barnyard scents on opening, but after that blows off, this is tasty. High acidity reminiscent of red fruit, and just a hint of that barnyard, but it works to balance the wine. Surprisingly good day 2. The VA gets a bit stronger, but still great.
