Merry Christmas to all on Delectable 🎄
This was opened for the family. Half decanted, half straight from the bottle. And as usual, drank from large bowl glasses. Very approachable despite being a baby. It's quite remarkable for the vintage. Dense, but so lean and racy. While both excellent, the decanted half was completely delicious on another level - all parts in harmony, vinous, chalky, apple, custard, marzipan, toast, with a deep saline finish. Could be the occasion and company, but this was probably the best showing of the LC15 this year 🤤
I've had the LC15 a couple of times, but never noticed this before - Prévost is now a negociant! It appears it was out of necessity, with 80% of the harvest wiped out by spring frost last year (2017). Hopefully it's a blessing in disguise and would allow Jérôme to make more wine from other plots they tend to in Geuex. Potentially intetesting times.

Has a lovely floral nose the accents the red raspberry, wild strawberry and lemon peel nose. There is good texture and richness wit a combo of red fruit and citrus flavors. This is supremely elegant. I wonderful final bottle in NYC.

Lc15. Silky and fruity. But notably less expressive than 2014 at this time
