Jessup Cellars
Vineyard O Cabernet Sauvignon
Our monthly 4th Friday event at the storage facility. No requirements, just wine you want to share with others! Always an enjoyable time.
One of my contributions for the day. Probably won the award for darkest cork, yet the palate was quite a bit lighter tasting. The tannins on this were chewy...I always associate that with cranberries. Almost overwhelming. Needs either a long decant or another 5 years away. Floral on the nose...violet and lavender. Palate was very young tasting. Very age-able!

From our second wine swap with @Shay Aldriedge. Thanks for sending out this beauty! Have only tried Jessup Cellars regular wines, this was a real treat.
Deep ruby red with garnet edges. Dark plums, cassis and spices on the nose that started to get a bit darker with time in the glass. Medium tannins (6/10) and balanced acidity. A touch of spices, black cherries, black fruits and anise. Medium bodied and long finish. Drink till 2020.
