Ok 14 years old but yet so young. Let's see it in 3 more years

Note to self: Somewhat more evolved than expected. So check another bottle soon.

Friend Bday Celeb. First started very red fruit and ribenna. it is very smooth and balance. But then drink it within 3 hrs and it starts to degrade

So fresh at 19 years of age. Black cherry/plum with an herbal spice, a sweetness to, balanced, a touch of eucalyptus/mint/resin. With time, the ripeness - that is, over-ripeness - shows. Not my style - too ripe.

An opulent Clare Valley shiraz. A very enjoyable wine.

After a 4 hour decant, this wine is cruisin’ straight into my heart.... Kirsch, blackberries, coffee, dark chocolate, bacon, smoke, and grilled meat. Beautiful spices like black pepper, anise, cumin and cloves.
Maybe just a pinch of alcoholic heat peaking through in the loooong finish...
In the early phase of its drinking window, just starting to show gorgeous savoury nuances, it has a bright and lengthy future ahead.
Oh man, do I love those classically built Australian Stars....
Monumental wine!

Peppery with some nice fruit. Big Aussie red even with a 3 hr decant. Not soft enough for me but still a great complex wine to taste. #melbourne #oz
