The Lodge Hill Clare Valley Shiraz

Not what I was expecting. Medium body, medium alcohol. Jammy blue and black fruit.

Wildflowers, violets and cassis. Soft with a nice mouthfeel.

Deep dark ruby, salami and dark red fruit, dry, thrusting peppery tannins, rich dark chocolate with chillies. Lean and long-legged.

Love it - dry, dense, spicy and savoury. Just what I like!

Must have with smoked food. Rather green and eucalyptus-y.

A very unique Shiraz to nail down. Quite peppery not overly smooth and a little sweet punch at the finish. All said it works and me likey

Dark fruity and dry. I prefer a Syrah but nice enough to have again
