Confidence Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne Chardonnay

Bready, preserved lemon, sharp minerality, almonds-almonds-almonds. A seriously great way to round out the holidays.

100% oak fermented and no MLF. Disgorged in 2013. I am not sure if the nuttiness is deliberate here. Seems advanced even if not prominent but would expect more energy, aplomb and precision. The second bottle above has a more complete character.

This was a really nice champagne! It came in 4 out of 22 in our tasting and in the small group it came in 3 out of 6.
