White florals, pureed ripe yellow and under-ripe green apples, hint of candle wax and lightly lingering petrol notes. Still a fun wine, but not the same as it was in a more youthful age. Solid QPR at $9, just enjoy within ~2-3 years from vintage. One of our many value wine aging experiments.

This is a lovely wine - all the balance and fruit one wants from a well-made Loureiro. Soft on the palate without sacrificing any of that dynamic acidity one wants in Vinho Verde. This was one of the hits in my recent Vinho Verde seminar

The usual 🍋/limey flavors with a nice floral note but it didn’t have the spritzy ness that I’ve come to love from the vinho verdes’-so a little in the flabby side to me

Jun 9th, 2017100% Loureiro. Screaming acidity, salinity, tart Apple, lemon zest. Just a great value Vinho Verde. Excellent pair with raw oysters. Love these 100% Loureiro Vinho Verdes.
