Rich, juicy, and fruit forward in style, this Santa Barbara Pinot might be a crowd pleaser but lacks the subtlety which makes Pinot Noir special. Begins with aromas of cherry, plum sauce, along with vanilla on the nose. The palate presents quite a lively acidity throughout with bright cherry, cranberry which clashes with a heavy oak influence on the mid-palate and finish. Overall a disappointing wine for me, but still paired alright with movie night movie night and popcorn! [7/8/23] ($15)
