Saturday night and tonight's wine is the 2015 Joseph Drouhin Gevrey-Chambetin Pinot Noir. This wine has 20-30% of their Premier Cru in the blend.
On the nose there is strawberry, cherry, raspberry, clove, hibiscus, cola and wet leaves.
On the palate there are notes of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, red currant, cola, clove, mushroom and damp earth.
This wine is medium bodied with a silky smooth mouthfeel, medium acidity and medium fine tannins that leads into a medium+ to long red fruit licorice tinged finish. A beautifully balanced wine with lasting pleasure. Stay healthy and safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

May 11th, 2019Neat, flowery nose and a newborn colt’s awkwardness led an otherwise nice, strawberry-powered Gevrey Village. Sock this away for 2-3 years it’s a thoroughbred.
