One of the better Macon-Villages I've had. Meyer lemon, yellow apple, quince, sea shell and crushed chalk, with a tiny bit of honeysuckle and white floral character. Definitely unoaked, possibly partial malo but still pretty clean and lean; Just enough to give the wine a tiny bit of creamy, richer texture. Bone dry, acid decently high but definitely wouldn't describe it as "sharp" or anything similar. Ate with chicken tacos, wasn't a perfect pairing but it definitely wasn't unpleasant, either. Really solid value at $14.
