Joseph Drouhin
Musigny Grand Cru Pinot Noir
What s a nose. Intense roses, dark cherry, spice, black pepper. On the palate just delicious with a glossy, transparent mouthfeel. Intense but beautifully light and then really long. The nose on this is just beautiful and the wine is delicious. Wow.

Jul 5th, 20212004 vintage. Fairly aggro/in your face upon opening with tons of front-loaded palate fruit. Woulda guessed Carneros initially. Eventually softened on the initial impression and added a bit o’ tannins on the finish. Medium/medium-heavy body. Far from impressing with a subtle style; plenty of thrust from the get go. No rush to crush.
