Joseph Drouhin
Sécher Domaine de Vaudon Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay
2024/1. Classic and similar to the last bottle but perhaps even a bit more expressive. Moreish.

Jan 20th, 20242023/12. Pure, classic Chablis - limpid, lemon and stone, a little flint and honey. No noticeable oak influence, in contrast to the Jadot Beauroy (another major Côte d’Or negociant whose wines I drink regularly). A bit reminiscent of Dauvissat stylistically, if not as deep.

Dec 28th, 2023On nose buttery notes, oak, lemon zest. On the palate fresh and vibrant, nice minerality and balanced acidity. Finish with roses, bruised apple aroma and moldy notes. Long and concentrated taste. Amazing chardonnay.
