Santenay Beauregard 1er Cru Pinot Noir

classic pinot characteristics, aged enough.
does what it says on the label, but look for blown minds somewhere else.

Very nice nose with strong vanilla and toast notes and cherry and red currant. The palate is well done with a string acid drive and a bright cherry note playing along, a very soft and delicate mouthfeel, some drying tannins in midpalate, kicking off a very long finish with cherry and some vanilla notes. Good effort, on the oak barrel side.
