Clos Troteligotte Cahors Malbec

I love wine from Cahors and you rarely see it on a menu. Found this one at Rye in Leawood, KS. (Save room for pie) Always a simple, straightforward wine that delivers. I hope I can find this to bring home!

Rich it more subtle than the standard South American Malbec. Touch of fizz. Dark cherry and a lot of Italian herb.

Interesting, dry, polite oaks notes and hints of white pepper, cherries & floral segments Nice medium/long finish
