Deep gold. Dried apricots on the inviting nose. Full-bodied palate confirms the nose adding balsa wood, and dried apple with a bit of savory tennis shoe note that blossoms into marzipan with air exposure. Acidity is low as is typical of the variety, but present enough to accompany a hearty meal. Finish is long and continues the palate. Very reminiscent of Condrieu in style and profile, though with a bit more weight.
