Dec 12th, 2019This is their entry level red and made to be an everyday wine. It drinks well early with a half-hour decant. 2017 is one of the better overall vintages on the Western Cape.
The nose shows dark expresso style fruits with a bit of rubber toy. Blackberries, dark cherries, blue fruits, strawberries & some plum notes and red & dark florals.
The body is full with grainy, cocoa dry tannins. Blackberries, dark cherries, blue fruits, strawberries, some plum notes and red & dark florals. Nice acidity and a round easy drinking finish.
