Although not extra complex this wine checks all the "pleasant and not bland" boxes. I'd say I like it. For a 17 dollar Washington Riesling (gotten w a gift card to Naked Wines) it was about on par for what I'd expect. Off-dry. That zingy acid one wants out of Riesling. Notes of all the citrusy things you can imagine (even kumquats), apples, and a hint of white flowers and orange blossom. Plus the honey essence of the residual sugar. The finish is medium plus, albeit steady and unchanging. I am less excited when I taste Rieslings sans that delightful petrol note many get but mayhaps this needs age...

An exemplary Washington Riesling, this vintage lives up to Ms. Michaud's previous releases: nice residual sugars and honey apple tones, not a dessert wine by any means, but well balanced enough to pair with spicy dishes. It survived a cage match with saag aloo, butter chicken, chana masa ka, and some really amazing veggie samosas. This is a go-to wine for aficionados of spicy Asian cuisine.

Slightly acidic and not as sweet as expected, but a wine thoroughly enjoyed alone or paired with an Alfredo sauce.

Never drink Riesling but I might start. This is fantastic. Bright, clean, fruity. Just enough sweetness.

A very fruity heavy on the honey Riesling. A bit too much for my flavor but worked better with some salty blue cheese and food.
