Whereas the 2011 vintage of this was bright and shiny, this has a more glossy purple sheen to it. Coastal fruit aromas of red fruit with sweet sage. The palate is beginning to show the wines age, as the fruit isn't as lively, but that's probably more of a result of the grape not being able to age well.

2009 - Blueberries, blackberries and spice. Tobacco leaf, new leather. The tannins are like suede. Beautiful tonight, but would love to have it 8-10 years from now.
