Star bright pale straw. Abundant classic Kiwi nose of guava and lemongrass. Bright acidity leads the medium light palate of guava, lemongrass, and soft citrus rind. Finish is typically brief, but strong and a wee bit dark. The standard Marlborough has been aWkne Spectator “Best Buy” for two vintages running. The Estate ”Signature Series” kicks things up a few notches with elegance. Best as a sipper, it will still satisfy with rich “white wine” fare that can use a good cut-through. I’m having KFC, though fried/sautéed fish or seafood would be killer! Drink now.

Will buy again. Light in color, generally smooth with some acidity, probably medium-body for a white, mostly fruit notes.

Nov 10th, 2020I am not usually a white wine drinker but needed it for a recipe. I was pleasantly surprised. I taste passion fruit, kiwi and a light herby flavor. All in all a lovely wine.

Aug 25th, 2020Straw-hued. Aromas and flavors of bell pepper, cream, grapefruit, grass, lemon zest, and pear. Medium-minus body and medium-high acidity. Pronounced citrus on the nose; whilst plush and supple on the palate with a balanced finish of zest and minerals. Well-made and easy-drinking. Bonus points for QPR.

Lush mouth feel when compared to the regular Kiaora Sauvignon Blanc, which is my go-to favorite. Very smooth. Same citrus smell and taste, but a bit of peach. Will definitely buy again.
