Lucero Casablanca Valley Syrah

On the nose; ripe, ruby, floral, slightly candied fruits of; blackberries, black raspberries, blueberries & dark cherries. Whiff of pepper, black cherry cola, amazing purple florals and violets.

The body is full. The tannins are sticky & chewy. There’s is a nice elegance that follows. Ruby, ripe fruits of; blackberries, black raspberries, blueberries and dark cherries. Whiff of pepper, black cherry cola, whiff of herbal notes, pepper, dark rich, moist soil, some dry light vanilla, red florals, amazing purple florals and violets. Amazing acidity with a flat out long, rich, elegant finish.

Nose yields green pepper, smoke, slight tobacco & vanilla. Palate: light to medium bodied. The 13.5% is more prominent because the fruit is weak. Pleasant at the price point.

This one took until the second glass for me to really get excited about it. It's a forest stream of raspberry and Coke bottle gummies. Reminds me of the short cut to the corner store.

Dark fruit, peppery, medium/medium plus tannins. Very drinkable

I love the funk on the nose. My drinking companions didn’t. Such is life, more for me.

Peppery, superb amount of mouthfeel and structure, not a fruit bomb but not lean. Balance. Wowsers.

Very vibrant berry notes on the nose, lightly tannic, good balance. Not long though.

Very smooth and full of flavor. Was excellent with Spaghetti
