Ramnista Naoussa Xinomavro

Beautiful wine from Greece, a burgundy lovers style of Greek wine. But with much more tannin.

Light, slightly astringent Greek red (Xinomavro), served with Mousaka. at Kava Neo-taverna, South End, Boston

In flavor it is not that rich, as I would expected. But this bottle somehow has a really interesting tomato and bell peppers character to it. Also there are some strawberry, red fruit, raspberry.

2011 similar to Barolo, loved it. Will keep an eye out for this grape
