Great example of Russian river valley Pinot. Crisp, elegant, eminently drinkable.

If we're talking about value (especially as pricey as Russian River Pinot has become) this is a great one. Very typical of the region, fruity, a bit spicy. Yes, I get it, it's Costco, but after just getting back from Sonoma my wallet needs a break.

Not sure what more you can ask from a $9 bottle of Pinot. Full of fruit on the nose and more of the same on the palate. Intense fruit that lingers through the finish. A $45 price tag on this wouldn't surprise me at a winery. Classic RRV.

I thought this was more like a Zinfandel than a Pinot. Not much of the characteristic Pinot traits and a little fruit heavy. But it was nice with garlicky lamb chops.
