Interesting brown/red color. Incredibly smooth especially considering the high alcohol content. Earthy, mineral taste with a slight acidic finish.

Sometimes the Signature series has outstanding value. I did not think this one lived up to that. I bought Chianti Classico Riserva for half the price Castelgreve 2011 that was better. Sometimes i feel a winery sells off some grapes instead of declassifying them.

Deep red, oak forward taste, nice with meat or sea bass type fish, really like it. Yea, Signature Costco brand. Winner.
