Les Noisetiers Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

What CA Chardonnay should taste like. Almost Meursault like.

Too much of an oak bomb for my palate.

-2013- A nice example of unfiltered Chardonnay from Sonoma, everything is there, acidity, fresh and ripe citrus fruit, white flowers, rounded by some oak great minerality.

Continuing the cradle robbery tonight.

Surprisingly fresh, medium + acidity keeping things juicy. Oak is judicious, so overall an even better pairing with lobster. Apple, melon, sweet lemons, and a dollop of vanilla.

Balanced

Soft and sumptuous. Oak is present but not overwhelming. Highlights the Sonoma coast fruit.

2013.

Vintage 2013 tasted Feb 2015. Could benefit from short-term cellaring. Solid backbone of acidity. Minimal oak influence. Begs for food. Yes, Burgundian profile. Understated profile.
