Dark ruby color with intriguing dark fruit, roast coffee, spice, and a bit of eucalyptus aromas. On the palate its medium-bodied with surprising acidity, and dusty tannins. It shows baked blackberry, black raspberry, roast coffee, vanilla and spice flavors. Lingering sweet finish.

Coffee, eucalyptus, and vanilla bean infused fruit on the nose. This is a highly drinkable wine with a friendly medium body and tannins composed of baked red and purple fruits like plums, cherries, strawberries, and ripened blueberries. I'm also getting some sherry/port-like notes which are sweet, nutty, velvety and delicious! The 86 year old Marisa vineyard has dry, loamy soils that are almost nothing but sand.
