Color was a beautiful golden hue and paired beautifully with seared scallops. Huge wine with creme brûlée, lemony notes and a very long butterscotch finish. Day 2 after vacuum slightly ox'd but enjoyable nonetheless.

Dec 15th, 2015Wow. Coravined over a couple days. Heavy on the palate and lots of dark fruit but softens up on the finish. Could get even better with a few more years.

I'm am a big believer that many wine makers can prefect a particular varietal, but few can be great at making many varietals of wines. Kongsgaard makes great Chards but not so when it comes to Syrah!
