Hype levels not even close to being reached. Doesn't smell smell like Riesling. Confectionary lemon notes mostly. Palate is better. It is like a simple Mosel wine,but the confectionary/acrid sweetness comes back on the finish. No complexity and doesnt speak to me of NZ Riesling.
