Clear pale lemon with watery rim. Clean pronounced aroma still developing with nutty almond, butter, grass and hint of gooseberry. Dry on the palate with high acidity, medium alcohol, and medium+ body flavours of citrus was the first to hit, then came the nutty creamy feel laced with gooseberry and grass. Possible use of oak, lees stirring and malolactic fermentation for a rounder and fuller mouthfeel. Very good quality, drink now but can possibly hold for another year. Sauvignon Blanc from the Saint-Bris AC in Burgundy, unusually unusual. Great value!
