Floral on the nose. Distinct berry and spice on the tongue while finishing with soft plush tannins.

A bit too much vanilla-y new oak for my taste, though the fruit concealed below it is more typical of the region. It just might be worth buying a few to lay down and see how it plays a couple of years from now when the oak integrates a bit, but at $45 at the lcbo it ain't cheap. I probably should have stumped for the Dutton they have going for $57 - more expensive but vastly superior.
