What? Sangiovese and Syrah Co-Fermented? Peter Stolpman told me this is the only such thing in the whole world (co-ferment Sangio-Syrah), and I have to take him on his word, as I do not know of a place outside of their vineyard sites that ripen both grapes simultaneously. Amazing wine, with a gamey hint on some very tight Sangiovese that is both dried and macerated Cherries. I love this wine. It is gorgeous, unique, and if made in Walla Wall or Napa, would cost a small fortune.

Lovely, on the dryer side, not too sweet but a little sweet finish
