River Restaurant Miami, Fl This is an excellent wine. My favorite choice of the night.

A bit of alcohol on the nose but softens nicely with time. Less fruit forward than other #gsm Rhône wines I've had but balances dark fruit and blackberry notes well with earthiness. Nice wine for sipping and relaxing!

Admittedly, I've been on a bit of a roll lately. I've been very fortunate in my wine selection, always striving for a balance between value and quality. This Rhone blend is another stunner. It needs a little time to breathe (alcohol was the first scent I detected), but when it does you wont be disappointed. Smoke and dark earth spring forward, followed by bacon fat, black fruit and a floral quality I can't quite pinpoint. The palette reveals dark, wet earth, tart cherries and blackberries, followed by chalky slate. Not as approachable as other Rhone blends I've had, but that's hardly a deterrent to this wine. Give this one time to open up to you and you'll be rewarded (and at a very reasonable $15).

Vi fortsätter på samma tema! Blommigt, rosor, lite fläder och knäck och choklad! Peppar, sting och polkagris. Absolut!

Very good CDR for a springtime day cooking on the patio. Pairs nicely with our grilled sirloin and rosemary roasted fingerling potatoes.
