La Finca, Tempranillo. From Mendoza, Argentina. Red with tannins, ok. A little more sour than I usually like.

The vineyards of Finca La Celia lie in the foothills of they Argentine Andes. Deep red color with ruby hues. Very fruity on the nose, hints of ripe blackberry and cherry intermingled with smoked and vanilla aromas, cocoa, and white pepper with ruby hues due to aging in oak barrels for three months. Fruity long finish with a meaty character.

Wow, this was terrible. Smelled like knockout gas they give you before surgery, the front/mid palette was a combination of bark,, pepper, sour patch kids and lemon juice. Very short finish. I guess that's what you get sometimes with Trader Joes discount selections.

Great evening wine to even out the storm. Great nose and color that will unwind any other wine. Very young but with the right notes to enjoy your evening. Great with manchego cheese.
