Black current, dried black cherry and slight tobacco. Very light tannins.
Excellent with beef and stews. — 14 days ago
New Years Eve dinner - which red wine to drink?! 🤔
Finally settled on an old favorite - Paul Jaboulet Hermitage.
Did not disappoint - smooth, concentrated fruits, with a hint of earthy, charcoal, tobacco.
Nice way to end our wine drinking for 2025, here’s to more great wines in 2026! 🥂 — 3 days ago

DRC Night at Secrets Moxché in Cancun. Held up better than most aged burgs I’ve had. Color is pale garnet, brickish. Notes of old church, library, dried red berries, medium body, acidity still vibrant. Long finish. Past its peak, possibly, but extremely intelectual wind. — 13 days ago
Such a special Champagne, one of my favorites among rosés.
I try to remember every vintage I taste. They’re always exceptional: strawberry skin, brioche, beautifully structured with a fine mousse, layered and precise.
Tonight, there’s a new note I just picked up, blood orange, and I’m completely into it. — 7 days ago
