Lateral Wine
Napa Valley Merlot Cabernet Franc
Merlot/Cab Franc blend. Great balance of fruit and earth, plush but gripping tannin. Merlot brings the softness and dark fruit, Cab franc brings the grip and the earth. Expressive nose, long finish right out of the bottle. Would only do better with more time and air.

Jul 20th, 2017Napa valley style. Clean and fruit driven. Touch of oak and touch of wine snob. Black fruits. Ripe.

Feb 6th, 2016Exactly what I want from a California red. Plums, dark cherries, tobacco, and dark chocolate. Good acid and well integrated oak.

Black currant, plum jam, dark chocolate covered cherry, star anise, coffee bean. Med + body, pronounced tannins. Bold, youthful, chewy on palate. Needs more time but has a great potential. Definitely age worthy wine!
