P'tit Pape vertical. The 2011 is what sold me on Ian Brand wines. Great spice and earth flavors. 2012 followed suit with a bit more concentrated fruit and meat smoke. 2013 started to show the drought and was the last to be finished out of the three, also needs some time to shake off the wood. I yelled at the Mr. Brand from across the street once, I enjoy his wines.

Like getting ahead in the line at the bank, with a pop of a cherry in this 5er of CDP blenderrifics.

Black fruit, spice, smoke, light bodied but complex. Would be interested to try a different vintage

Wonderful CA Rhone style. Had at 40th birthday party. 51% Grenache, 27% Syrah, 19% Mourvèdre, 3% counoise. Rich, dark fruit, smooth. Great with food.
