Nose with chocolate, earth, black currant, a bit of meat juice too. Interesting nose, not really typical. The palate is well balanced between a very string acid backbone and some fruit and matter on the sides. Firm tannins kick things up before a rather light and long lasting finish with a bitter, salty twist. This is OK but it lacks a bit of matter and distinction.
