Underrated, a nice everyday wine. Subtle but tannic, plum, cherry — 3 years ago
2019 vintage. A relatively new estate, composed by buying 3 estates(Vieux Bourgneuf, Prieurs de la Commanderie, and Commanderie de Mazeyres), and renamed after the owner Clement Fayat (who also owns La Dominique and Clement Pichon). Looks a bit older than expected. Very floral nose. Medium-bodied, with red fruit, fresh acidity, slightly rustic tannin, and good length. Gets better with air. Very cheap for Pomerol in a local supermarket ( 29,90 euro),a nice bottle of wine, but nothing really special for Pomerol. — 7 months ago
A properly structured Rosie. Not flabby that by itself Nets it 90 points. — 4 years ago
Full bodied beauty! The balance of favours are spot on. Beautiful tannis, beautiful smell. I'm in love with this wine. — 6 years ago

2016 vintage. Promesse de Fayat is the second wine of Pomerol Château Fayat, owned by Clément Fayat (also La Dominique in Saint-Emilion, and Clément Pichon and Aney in Haut-Médoc). Château Fayat is a relatively recent name (2009) , as it is a fusion of 3 Pomerol estates (Prieurs de la Commanderie, La Commanderie and Vieux Mazeyres), resulting in a big (for Pomerol standards) 16 hectares estate. A solid, medium-bodied Pomerol. A little shy at first, but opening up nicely after 30 minutes. Black juicy cherries and dark chocolate. Serious tannic structure, fresh acidity and good length. — 3 years ago

Not sure if this is the label but it’s a graves Blanc. 2021 appellation graves controlee. Easy white. A bit sweet. Easy to drink but absolutely burnt my palate on some calm chowder. Great day at the lobster pound enjoying a nice white. Would get it again. Fruit forward, good nose. Easy as this afternoon. — 4 months ago
