Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Fair Cab Sauvignon which is an unremarkable Washington cliche and now past its peak already. Faded tannins, low acidity, and muted blackberries show that even nine years in the bottle were too long to let this go.

Love this

2-3 hour decant and a pleasant, true to type cab with dark cherry, cassis, blackberry and hints of tobacco with smooth tannins

Lighter cab

The nose smells like a Sharpie. It leaves the taste flat.

With our bike gang

Tight tannic structure. Took a while to open, releasing some nice dark fruits. Best to wait a few years IMO.

Chris's family's wine. I remember it as really good but had way too much that night to remember more.
