Reads really sweet, despite 14.5%, which throws it out of balance quite a bit. Heavier viscosity exaggerates the sweetness too. Not for me.

As usual, a disappointing wine from L'Ecole 41. Strong oak notes and bitter finish along with an off putting nose redolent of pear make this release yet another to be avoided.
