Jurassic Park vineyard, Santa Ynez Valley. One of my favorite of Leo’s Chenin Blanc bottlings. Very aromatic and developed on the nose, showing the more exotic and floral side of the grape.

“Exactly what I want from a white wine...a mild buzz”. So speaketh the husband. This was completely drinkable, opened nicely with some air, and had a nice, viscosity to its mouthfeel.

Leo Steen Whites have everything, dimension, tension, integrity, transparency. The only thing that distinguishes it from the Loire Chenin Blanc is the acid structure, with less energy and resonance from California terroir.
