Deep golden yellow colour. Petrol, smoke, beeswax, honey, wet stones and spices are on front row. Also subtle nuances of truffle, dried tropical fruit and candied citrus. Dry! One of the more powerful, mineral and structured Rieslings on the list here. Sourced from Eichberg Cru vineyard, IIRC.
Years of cellartime were necessary to bring this beautiful wine into balance and harmony. Drink now.

Austere, extreme minerality, like chewing pebbles and marble. Grapefruit and herbal notes. Great acidity. Very long finish full of tension and focus. So tight and unforgiving at the moment, needs several years in the cellar. Very powerful and full of promise.
