When you're braising meat all afternoon for dinner... A little for the pan... A little for my belly... This is a nice glass of wine... On the nose, black cherry... On the palate, that cherry is almost candied, but still retaining the black cherry character along with a heavy dose of cranberry and maybe some pulp mushiness... A nice medium acidity that's at the same time great for an afternoon break between chores, but would also pair well with food like those beef shanks I'm braising. Quite nice.

Flavour profile: Pomegranate is dominant. Dark cherry also prominent, followed by a mineral-y bitter almond- bitterness equivalent to 72% dark chocolate. Goûts de terroir du France.

80% Grenache, 20% Syrah
Nice wine brand to explore. In the voice of Pauly Shore “astrological... buddy”.
Needs 3 hr decant (journey along the way was very interesting, with lots of plot twists, and interesting views).
Nice fruit level, red and dark berry, black plum, persimmon (?mushiness on the tip of tounge?), rocks, cement, bitter, medium tannin.
Im down, eager to explore more of the portfolio. Very nice CDR.

Spicy and almost brambly. Grenache definitely dominant, a bit lighter than your usual CDR with lots of black pepper, some blackberry, and raspberries. Well structured acid, firm tannins, lithe but packs a punch, like a welterweight punching above its class. Fun stuff, nice match for a spicy chicken dish.
