Mar 21st, 2014Dark cherry and cassis berry fruit sweet tobacco spice very well endowed with dark coco and mocha. Smooth and silky texture with lovely balance and depth of fruit. A lot of everything and very well endowed full throttle. Finish 50 Most excellent

2001 vintage. Great fill and cork. Decanted with respectable sed and chilled down to the upper 50’s. Tasted after 30 mins and two hours. Medium heavy body. Moist dirt, graphite and black olive nose. Dark chocolate and fudge sludge with some finishing, earthy leanness. Powerful and approx a half-decade past the top of the bell curve but still pretty good. Should hang out in this area for another3-4 years. 7.27.24.

Finally opened after 12 years - by accident. Had to strain it. But it was worth it.
