Ruby in color with a wide brick rim and medium intensity.
Fruity nose of blueberries, black currants, vegetables, earth, cloves, nutmeg, light barnyard, wood, strawberries, spices, pencil lead and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
Fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, oak, earth, coffee, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.
Short finish with soft tannins.
This Australian Merlot is simple and almost balanced, yet drinkable. Good right out of the bottle with a nice, soft mouthfeel. Not luxurious but not intrusive either.
Resembles their Cabernet Sauvignon, if I remember correctly. (Maybe a little softer.)
13.5% alcohol by volume.

May 4th, 2017from a friend: this wine gives me many a regret, I wish it and I had never met, to your taste buds touche do not let, I would not even give it to my pet.
I actually liked it. Note: do not give wine to your pet
