Lindeman's
Bin 50 Smooth Shiraz
A pretty ruby color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blueberries, cherries, red currants, red candy, light wood, alcohol, licorice, light barnyard, milk chocolates and tobacco.
Medium in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry to off dry on the palate with raspberries, blueberries, cherries, oak, earth, light vegetables, graphite and black pepper.
Medium minus on the finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a simple Shiraz from Australia. Not fully balanced, but drinkable nonetheless. Good for everyday and better when a little chilled.
Needs 30 minutes to open up. I paired it with hard cheeses and crackers.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
83 points.
$6.

This got better throughout but did not start off great. Bitter and then smooth and just sort of mellow overall to finish. My first Shiraz. We'll see when I have another.

Jun 18th, 2019🇦🇺 Australia most popular varietal. Full body Shiraz 🍇 with blackberry and plum taste. Dry and balanced for smoothness to the palate. I would pair this wine 🍷 with roast beef and gravy. 13.5% ABV.
