Jan 16th, 2017More of an olive note came through. Blackberry came through after about an hour. Fun to watch a wine evolve, different from the previous 2 times I have had.

Aug 10th, 2019Not a typical California Syrah, more elegance instead of power... with plenty of spice for syrah lovers.

Feb 12th, 2017I don't think I have ever had a Syrah that was under 12%. This was amazing, soft red fruits followed by tannin and cracked black pepper. This will be a beautiful wine in a few years.

Nov 5th, 2016Different from when I had this about 2 years ago. The wine seems closed up. Did notice a difference on day 2. Have one more bottle left, will leave it alone for a bit. Cracked pepper, tea, blackberry, more Northern Rhône like.
