Jadot’s 2014 Bourgogne Pinot Noir sits medium dark and pretty purple in the glass. There is raspberry and cranberry on the nose, with a little whiff of smoke high over the glass. It's a fruity aroma package adorned with just a bit of minerality. The minerals come forward really strong on the palate, elbowing the tart little berries right out of the way. Acidity is predictably wonderful while the tannins stay mostly in the shadows.

Very smooth bottle. Goes with everything! Great pairing with Roasted chicken, pork and grilled fish!

I love a jammy, velvety textured Pinot Noir. This wasn’t one of those. Was unremarkable.

Really liked it. Great value. A simple but pure expression of Pinot. Nicely balanced. No heavy or rich traits. Light all around. Would def buy again.

Vintage year 2014. Opened and tasted on 18/2/2018. Vacuum till 2nd tasting on 23/2/2018. Latter nicer overall. Clear ruby, medium light tears. Old wood to nose. Medium body, floral, berry to palate. Medium aftertaste.
