Smells like the forest in France after a fresh rain. Slightly darker and riper red fruit than the younger burgundies I’ve tried. Herbs, wet stone, slight cinnamon, craisins, fresh cranberry, wild ripe strawberries and raspberries. Lots of minerality that finishes with red soil flavors. Surprisingly very acidic still, may be better in another 5 years

solid dense wine that is approachable. Very good, not profound.

Still way too young. A typical hard and severely tannic 05.
